One time I took a trip to the city all by myself.

So, I was trying to find where I was supposed to go for my interview and this is where I ended up. The Korean Presbyterian Church. Haha what an odd occurrence.

I decided to eat lunch at the Dancing Cranes. They have a café call Solstice Café and it's really cute. It has the whole posi vibes thing going on.

They had little water fountains and plants everywhere. It was so relaxing.

If I lived in Salt Lake City I would definitely spend my days sitting on this couch. It's would be like Friends... except I don't have any to sit with me. What? Oh.

They even had books for your convenience. Haha notice how all of them or religious or philosophical... and then you get to the complete collection of Harry Potter.

I loved all the artwork every where.

My salad with Cilantro dressing. I give it a 7 out of 10.

A fountain in the middle of the store.

Isn't that the most amazing mural you've ever seen?

This lamp will be the focal point of my future living room. I am honestly in love with it.

Inspirational words at Starbuck's. I love seeing who posts what on the billboard.

Me and my friends were in a fashion show on Saturday. It was extremely uncomfortable. I think I'd much rather be the designer than the model. This was the DJ. He was the best. He was exactly like Dwight. He kept scratching the discs while the woman was talking... someone was a little over excited.

My future house will not have any main lighting. It will all be from lamps and such light fixtures.

My family's idea of a serious photograph.
Ross. I love you. You made it possible for me to have this glorious piece of artwork for the minimal amount of five dollars.
Photoscape. I love you. You made it possible for me to edit this. The original is black and white and, dare I say, hideous.

Photoscape has become my new go to activity. If you don't have it, I strongly recommend downloading it. It's just like Photoshop... except not.

I, Emily Coletti, am making a new promise. I will be ugly in every single photograph taken of me from now on. (Unless it's photography.)
Perhaps you should try it.
It's a real confidence booster, and a lot more entertaining.
Need inspiration?
Never fear my dear.
I would never leave you all alone in such a complex task.
I will help you get inspired.

If you're wondering what I do on Saturday nights, it's this. In case you would like to participate, I have compiled a step by step how to. Enjoy.
Step #1: Prepare yourself. Listen to He Is We or Fun.
Step #2: Arm yourself. Bring a camera or video camera.
Step #4: Pick your target. Grocery stores are optimal, because you get a wide range of people.
Step #5: Be ugly. This is perhaps the most crucial step. It can be, but is not limited to, running ugly, licking the inside of your mouth constantly while talking, purchasing awkwardly big suckers, flaring your nostrils while talking, sharing ugly smiles with fellow shoppers, and last but  not least, closing your eyes while talking and only say "that's nice".
There you are. A complete step by step list on how to get the most out of your Saturday night. You can thank me later.

I'm sorry this photograph is blurry. I didn't really have time to make sure it turned out alright. And it didn't. Oh well.
I love Somebody Loved by The Weepies. It literally makes me feel loved. Ha, strange how music can do that to you. I sometimes think music is overrated. It seems like people try to numb themselves by listening to music and not relating to their own lives. I love the part in Amélie when the old man says, "She'd rather imagine herself relating to an absent person than build relationships with those around her?" and Amélie says, "Maybe she tries hard to fix other people's messy lives."

Today one of my friends asked me what I thought about her theory. I asked her what it was, and she said that real life was the dream and dreams were real life. It completely shocked me because a year ago for my english class I had to write a scary story and I came up with that idea! I haven't really told anyone though, so it's such a strange coincidence that she thought of the same thing. I don't know. Maybe a lot of people think of things like that but don't say anything about it. I love hearing people's theories. I have a theory about deja vu. I think that there are all of these dimensions and in every dimension, a different possibility  happens. So, in this dimesion, you're reading this blog post and nothing else is happening. In another dimension, you're reading it and you look over at the clock and it's 9:42, and then you hear a commercial on the television. So, maybe you'll continue reading, and nothing will happen. Or coincidentally you'll look at your clock and it will read 9:42 and you'll hear a commercial. You'll feel like it's already happened, because it has, only in another dimension.
Maybe it only makes sense in my mind.

I stayed home from school today to take pictures of all the clothes I'm selling on Etsy. They turned out really well. I guess the best time to take pictures really is in the morning, which is too bad because I'm either at school or getting ready to go to school. Maybe I'll start waking up earlier.
Also, I joined a team on Etsy called Indie Free Spirits, and they have the coolest things!

I love to watch fire. There is a room in my house that doesn't have any windows. I turned it into a meditation room. There are two banana chairs and a cushion to meditate on. There is a candle in the middle of the room. It's really calming.

Amélie is by far my favorite movie. Every single time I watch it I find something new to love. And this song is my absolute favorite piano song. Yann Tiersen is amazing.

I only like eggs sometimes. Whenever I make them I have to add sea salt and ginger, otherwise they taste gross. And if they are liquid-y at all, I can't eat them. My brother says that eggs are baby chickens that never had the chance to grow. I wonder if that's true. I always thought they weren't fertilized so they could never grow to be chickens. I guess I could look it up, but I kind of don't want to, because if they are baby chickens, then I won't eat eggs anymore. Which means I will hardly be able to eat anything.

My friend told me to meet him at the park. Once I arrived he sat me down to tell me all of the reasons why he loved being my friend and why he admired me. He actually had a list. It was the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me. I've never had someone be so blunt about all of my redeeming qualities. It made me really happy.

I despise the fact that this picture is a different orientation than the rest, but I couldn't not add it, so, I guess we'll all just have to endure.

I'm obesses with a movie called Paper Heart. It's so good. It's a mockumentary (a fake documentary) about a girl who doesn't believe in love. She goes around and interviews people about their stories and opinions about love. It's a super cute movie.

My mother bought this for me for Christmas. There's a little cup within the cup where you can put your tea bag. It also has a lid to keep it warm. I never drink my tea hot, but when I leave it out to cool, it gets too cold.
Also, I love Asian things. I love the design and color.
