Local Band Love

Good ole Muse.

They have new artwork. Go check it. I hope they leave Trevor Christensen up forever, his work definitely completes that wall.

Open mic night was a success. There are more photos, but this post is dedicated entirely to Streets Ahead. We were front row at their first performance. Yayyyyyy. Taylor is adorable, is she not? She is the classy lady with the glasses. We love her. No questions asked. Oh, and then there's Chandler. He's secretly a 40 year old man trapped in a teenager's body. No one knows where he came from. He pretty much just popped up in life one day and was like, "Hey, I'm super cool and have awesome facial features. Oh, and I dress well". Then we welcomed him into our clan where we cradle him like mothers cradle children.

I'm sorry. I don't know where that came from. No cradling occurs. Well, except for the night we tried to go to that restaurant where you pay what you think your meal is worth. There was like, a cuddle fest on the bean bag. I feel like I'm just word vomiting all up in here. I'm done.

ANYWAYS. I don't know Mark or Lisa, but Mark gave me a hug and Lisa has an angelic voice. AKA they are cool. So, yeah. That's the basis of Streets Ahead. You can like them on Facebook here

What Should We Do?

Tuesday, September 25, 2012
"this will be cute"
"is that cutting off your circulation?"

"the lipless monster"

"wait, let's do it again"

"she always covers her face in photos"

"i don't even know what he would do"

"hahahah"

"look at your chin"

"gang signs?"

"i like this one"

"ok"

"half the face!"

"let's do a hipster crop"

"i'm not ready"

"i guess"

(totally just barely saw Linds is flipping the camera off)

"third time's a charm"

"faceless"

"interaction"

"i can't believe we're doing this"
Photobooth photos really did just appear here.
I apologize. I simply don't have any on my camera.
Pear haps tomorrow will be better?

It rained last night. So, that's something that happened. JC texted me. Yay for human interaction with cool people. I quite like sitting in cars when it's raining. Oh, and I got killed in Assassin. Ate a veggie burger. Made some cookies. Lied straight up to Reed and said they were homemade. I bought them in a Pillsbury roll.

I'm missing my Book of Mormon class for the third time in a row right now. I need my old alarm. These phone alarms are simply too easy to turn of or sleep through. Plus, it doesn't help that I have zero motivation to go. Terrible student award right here.

In other news, I miss Trixie.

Somewhere

Saturday, September 22, 2012

+eating
+organizing pennies in every way possible for an hour and a half
+movie hopping

Well, my life is falling apart. How you may ask?

1.) Sold my iPhone and forgot to get all my stuff off of it
2.) Have to wait until Thursday to get a new one
3.) Can't access my voicemail
4.) Spent Friday and Saturday fixing my bike, only to not be able to get it into my car. Therefore, I will not even have it until later, so this weekend has been wasted.

It sucks, but I will manage. There are worse things happening in the world. On the bright side...

1.) I have Photoshop now.
2.) My bike is finished.
3.) I got all my packages.
4.) Starbuck's called me for an interview.

It would not be my preference to work in American Fork... but I might not have a choice! We will see my friends, we will see.

+a sleepy campus, excuse the grain

I called some boys rapists today.

It didn't go over too well.

Like, it's my fault or something? We are the ones getting raped. I think we deserve a little lenience.

Ok, if we are being honest, it was more like this:
"Well, I'm going to go. I'm not a fan of walking home in the dark and possibly being raped."
"Oh, did you get a rape whistle on your pillow?"
"Yeah, I have two."
"Lucky! We didn't get any!"
"It's because you're the potential rapists!"

Get over it males. You are rapists. That's that.
Hasty generalization? Yes, most definitely. But, it doesn't matter. Rape is rape and grapes are grapes. There's no getting around those facts.

Clearly, it is 12:52 AM and my mind is no longer functioning.
